Established in February 2019, Approved Employers of Australia Ltd (AEA) provides support to its members to inform, educate and advocate on their behalf assisting with the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme and other similar employment programs.

Please complete this form to apply to join the Approved Employers of Australia Association.

For your membership to be approved, you must be able to prove that you are currently an Approved Employer and you must agree to be bound by the rules of the Association and its Code of Conduct.

Membership Fees.

Current from 1 May 2023. The membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June.

Joining Fee: $1,000 + GST (Payable once upon joining the Association)

Tier 1: $750 + GST
Businesses employing no more than 20 AE Workers

Tier 2: $35 + GST per AE worker
Businesses employing between 21 and 50 AE Workers

Tier 3: $35 + GST per AE worker
Businesses employing between 51 and 149 AE Workers

Tier 4: $35 + GST per AE worker
Businesses employing between 150 and 999 AE Workers

Tier 5: $25,000 + GST
Businesses employing over 1,000 AE Workers

 Membership FAQs

 
  • AEA operates on a Financial Year basis for its membership. Invoices for the new financial year will be sent to Members at the end of April in the prior financial year.

    Where the Annual Subscription Fee remains unpaid by a Member for 31 days from the date it becomes due for payment, the Member will be barred from all privileges of membership.

  • No. Membership of AEA is only available to current Approved Employers.

  • All new membership applications are taken to the AEA board for approval to become a member. We - the AEA - will keep you informed as to when the board meets and when your acceptance of membership is approved. This will be followed by your joining fee and membership fee invoice, along with information on how to access the AEA’s information such as the website Members Area, and the AEA WhatsApp Chat Group.

  • You will receive a Tax Invoice from the Association with the Membership Fee & Joining Fee itemised based on the number of SWP and PLS workers that you employ.

    Payment can be made by bank transfer only.

  • Yes, your tax invoice will be sent to you on membership approval. Once payment is received, you will receive access to the relevant online platforms, including the AEA website Members Only area and the WhatsApp Chat Group.

  • AEA is governed by a Constitution and all members must agree to be legally bound by the Constitution.

  • The AEA Code of Conduct provides new members with the AEA goals, values and the standards, by signing the AEA Member Application Form, you are agreeing to abide by the AEA’s Code of Conduct.

  • Yes, any employers are able to be added to our e- newsletter and WhatsApp group. We ask that email communication is provided to enquiries@approvedemployers.com.au with the Employers Name (First and Surname), mobile phone number and email address.

  • Once your membership has been approved, and your fee has been paid, you can send an email request to enquiries@approvedemployers.com.au with your Name (First and Surname), mobile phone number and email address. You will receive a text message with a link to the AEA Chat Group.
